It's so quiet around here when uncle isn't around.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!! BLAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGG!!

That's the best I can do right now, my creativity is kinda shot at the moment
:D

I am sure it will be loud enogh tomorrow when the boys get back after chopping the equivalent of a 8 lane highway through YVSA back lot. We can look forward to plenty of knife reviews.

It ain't just a convention, it's a family reunion of folks we ain't yet got the chance to meet face to face. And we're missin' it. ( sob! whine! pout! :( )

WEEER BAAAAACK!!!!

Unbelievable time!!! :D

It really is a family!!! :D :D

See you guys at the next one.

You and I didn't have enough time at the Reno affair, but I guess we had all that was alloted to us that day.:(
And I was really looking forward to meeting Rob, as in MauiRob, for the 1st time in person, but since he couldn't make it there was a definite reason he shouldn't have come anyway.
But there will be a day when we can set down and scare half the Coyotes in Oklahoma with our Flute Music.;)

N2S for some reason no one even mentioned trying out a khukuri that I heard anyway.
I was hoping someone would have wanted to check out the Super Salyan compared to the GRS in a wood splitting contest and since no one did we still have firewood that needs to be split.
It may have been that the ones present didn't want to get too far from the food Or all the bent knives.

And as far as the noise goes, I can't download the powwow tape over to my sig.:(

Man, it sure is quiet. Am glad that every one had a great time at the Convention. So, were are the pictures? :)

YVSA,

You should of told me that you wanted to see a "battle of the Titans". If I have something that needs to be done I do it, otherwise I don't really look for work. I could of used YOUR kuks to split wood??? And I got your GRS to test against that Slayan!!! :(

Well, maybe next time. ;)

I know what they will both do, but it would have been fun to have had a couple of cutting contests.
We were all to busy having too much fun to even think about it at the time.:)

As you say, "Well, maybe next time.;)

And anytime y'all get up this way please feel free to stop in. Y'all will have a place to stay. The only reason we didn't have anyone in the house sleeping was room considerations and also to give Uncle Bill and Yangdu some privacy.
Hayil, ifen we had a huge house with 14 bedrooms everyone could have stayed with us!!!!:D:D:D:D

Yvsa: your saying that I was missed makes me feel much better, because if my absence was noted, then my spirit was probably running around for everyone to trip over like an invisible cat always underfoot.

Yvsa,

I second Rusty's post. Its sad not to be there but it darn sure is nice to be missed:D

I played quite a bit of flute Saturday and Sunday. I had planned for so long to play with you that weekend, that I was itching to play:) It made me feel better about not being there, and better about life in general-as it often does.

I played a little on the Wednesday after the attack to try and send the song off to the victims,(as much for my own spirit as theirs) but it was hard. What I did play was so da*n sad sounding.:( Made me feel better though...

Well, my offer still stands that if you and Barb are ever thinking about coming up this way our door is wide open:) Gotta eat lots of lobster, clams, mussels and drink beer(for you anyway:D as I don't drink anymore)then sit down by the river and play flute. I have coyotes in my neighborhood so they might just join in;)

The only complaint I have about the convention is there was no squirrel's heads and not enough Heineken.
