Seriously..

Which is why everyone here who has waited patently for my new Laminate grips to ship out will be getting a matching one of these along with their order.. My treat. They are not Wooden Lollypops, either LOL .. They are Laminate handled Crock sticks(ceramic sharpening rods..)..

Sweet dude, I didn't get no bonus from Kabar when I had to wait for my machax, a little extra like this would have made all the difference for me.

very cool of you. i can't wait either.. i am getting the woodland camo so if mine look as good as the ones in the pic i am going to be a happy man. thanks Jim. btw have these shipped yet ?

I have no idea what a crock stick is, which probably means it's something even a 4th grader knows. But it looks awesome and I have something radabonzical to put those scales on. Now I just have to wait patiently for the matching tweener scales.]

Are they done yet?:D

That's solid right there. Don't have any scales ordered, but thanks anyway.

I had to google it...it's a sharpening rod...I assumed it was but I had to check to make sure

As usual, you guys are funny..:D

Actually the Crock sticks are my favorite kind of honing instrument in the field. It goes back to my College Ag school days. In meat science class I used them and Sheffield made sharpening steels on my Forschner meat cutting knives..

The only problem with the Ceramic rods is they will break if dropped on a hard surface.. I am trying to work out a solution for that..I do like to carry both the 4" long models and the 8" long sticks in my pack. They put a fine ,yet toothy edge back on your blades..I like em better than Diamond impregnated rods..
