It's Sunday!!

No day off for me either, not until Wednesday. But I think Daniel likes his job more than I like mine!

With this 9 month old of mine, work is where I rest. Chasing bad guys is much easier than chasing a kid. Don't tell my wife.

Lol, don't feel bad that is how it goes for most of us! Oh, and at 9 months it's easy...

Tis indeed Sunday... I could sleep all morning, but noooooo way in hell! Time to entertain, feed creatures, and slap myself into reality!

Time to make the donuts..

And how do I drill through hardened Super blue steel? Cobalt bit just spins.... Sit and spin!

Edit: lycosa, yes. Potatomeat.

...just grabbed a snack, have already ground some knives and heat treated four, I have three in the kiln right now! Quench time three minutes, gotta go! BRB

Potatomeat? umm ok :D

Drill hardened super blue - lasers, you'll need 6-10 of those gas station ones and a magnifying glass.

You might be able to soften the tang with a torch and drill, not too sure on super blue as it has some alloying... I'll look and see.

(just checked, yes you should be able to - hold the blade with a wet rag and evenly heat the area, go slow and alternate sides. Be careful about heat and remember with uneven heat it can warp...)

The standard way to drill it is with a carbide bit, something I have no experience with. You need a rigid setup as otherwise the bit will likely shatter.

Knives all quenched, straight, in the temper kiln! :D

I'm having some Posole that I made this morning, good stuff! local roasted red chilis with chicken and a bunch of cheese. :)

Oh yeah...

Happy Sunday!

Rolf: here's how I see it: having any kid is like getting punched in the face. Having a kid with aspergers is like getting punched in the face a lot. Both recipients feel sorry for themselves even though everybody knows who has it worse!

Just changed the oil in my John Deere and poured some chemicals in the pool!

Darrel- That means a lot. Thank you. It's been a rough year with our son and then add puberty into the mix. good gawd!
Nothing runs like a Deere.

Hey Daniel, would any of the drill bits I have access to work for Sloth?

I feel for you, having a 4 day old is work and theyre not even out of the hospital yet. *Shhh* Frank just malice clip one of those baby carriers on the back of your plate carrier vest and its all good.
Hope your all having a great weekend.

What's up guys! Went to Universal Studios yesterday and it was really fun, but it was so hot my neck still red now!!:D

Have a good one everyone!
