Its that time again... (122)

Roger, you have an amazing collection of Buck knives. Thanks for all the knowledge, time and effort you put forth here on the forum.
I'm afraid you are confusing me with Roger ( DeSotoSky DeSotoSky ) who is a wealth of information here and an asset to the community.

I've never rightfully been accused of such and am offended that someone might think that of me... 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Okay . . . as we enjoy the pics, will someone please educate me on how the model 122 differs from the 124?
I'll try to. They are the same knife. What is confusing, one is marked as 122 , one as 124. Then there is the two liner that can be either....the main difference being the sheath.

If you are a BCCI member the website's Model History has articles on this.

Just to add a bit more info, the 122 Nemo was marketed as a "diver's knife", hence the difference in sheaths. The 122 sheath was made to be strapped to the user's thigh with rubber straps, which are unfortunately missing from my sheath. The 122 was soon discontinued because the tang didn't hold up well to prolonged saltwater immersion. I'm by no means an expert, just adding my 2 cents worth.
