Heya yall.
Yeah, it's that time of year again. By the grace of God (of my understanding),
today is day 8766, or 24 yrs. alcohol free.
Life is complicated, but good, better than it would be the old way.
I know there are others on the forum that live One Day At a Time, may yall be graced with the blessings I have been in sobriety.

Congratulations Mark.

Takes a lot of courage, everydamnedday.

Proud of you.

Bad-ass! Supercongrats on the choice and the anniversary, Mark.

And I understand; I'll be five years this May.

I drive by a place on the bad side of town sometimes; there's a place where individuals line up in the morning (before it opens) to sell their blood plasma ... some of them for the money to get high for a day.

I'm not a slave. Neither are you. But character holds a special value for those who decide each day.

Not to bring the drinkers down. Everybody else, enjoy your beer. Mark and I will take the watch.

And the car keys. And the weapons. :D

Mike
