Had this folder virtually finished.
All I had to do was lay the edge over, about the easiest, simplest part of making a knife, especially a folder, and moron me screws it up!
Messed up the point and on my weak hand side I laid it down too much and touched the top of the grind line on the belt, you can see the mark if you look close. I also took too much off the edge. I knew I was tired and should have quit earlier but you know how it is when you're close to finishing a knife.
Guess I'll rat hole it for a while and decide whether or not to make a new blade for it later. Sure aint in the mood for it now, lol.
Anyway, the moral to the story is, finish knives in the morning when you're fresh and don't take the simple steps for granted, they'll get ya if you do!

Been there and done that Michael. It's a bummer I know. Slow it down and redo the grind It may not look like you had invisioned, but like they say." If you cant fix it, feature it".

Oh heck, you can get out of that one, no problem. Just go back to it tomorrow or in a few days and you'll be seeing it in a whole new way. :)
