So I have found myself bored of my folders and no folders out there that I feel like will really be any better, for the time being anyway.

Im going to.try edcing a fixed blade. Any suggestions under 80 for a edc fixed? Please don't say izula, iv handled them and can't stand that handle, with wrap or scales I just hate it.

I plan on just edcing it daily to see if I like it better then a folder, I feel like it's worth a try.

I'm quite fond of Blind Horse Knives Lg Tiger Knaap. It is one piece construction, but still the handle has a different profile about it and may or may not be your style. Also you might like the Izula 2 which features scales and a slightly longer handle. I really like and prefer the Becker BK11 and find it's handle to be most ergonomic for a fixed blade. Then their is the often overlooked Boker plus Tom Krien Pocket Bowie which is a very nice EDC oriented fixed blade.

What are your size limits...?? MIN/MAX

Beckers,i have bk11,love it,buck paclite is really good too, holds an edge well and is comfy,i also like cold steel pendleton lite.On a side note i truly truly wish i could carry a good sized bowie everywhere i went without people giving a crap...

Didn't you just start a thread asking what *folder* to buy to EDC for a year now you change your mind..... Whats next.....What axe you can EDC because your bored of fixed blades?

Well in all seriousness now. Scrapyard scrapivore.

$80 you could probably find a maker that can make you a small edc fix blade to your specs. Why not buy a custom

I would probably get one of these. custom fixed blades. I cant bring myself to buy a production fixed blade, because there are so many good deal on handmade one of a kind pieces right hear in the market place. Have you tried out a traditional slipjoint like a casexx? I just got my first case and I am loving it.
