It's too bad the kamis aren't taking custom orders at the moment...

The only positive I can see is that if they were ~

1. I would never own a house.

2. My truck would be repo'd

3. I would have to work 80 hours a week

4. My apartment would be full of triangular boxes

5. I don't know what 5 is, but yeah, it is too bad.

Triangular boxes stacked up for walls. Reno papers for insulation. Khuks for tools (Berk Special would be the 24V DeWalt of khuk additiction tools).
 
Bill considered special orders aggravation under the best of circumstances. Look at the trouble with weight over the new FF's, and that was straight forward.

If they ever do custom again, I'd like an AK Bowie with a straight edge, so I can use it as a butcher's cleaver.

Yes, I've considered that. But the handle angle already leaves your fingers too close to the cutting board. Straightening the edge as is just makes it worse. So I'd have to rehandle and reprofile edge.
