Just got one of the Vaughn Sub Zero 8oz hatchets. Man is this thing tiny! Fits in my pocket literally, after fixing the edge I took it out on a field trip that my boss voluntered me for. This meant we we allowed to clear both sides of a 1/4 long trail that was a little overgrown. I took the itty bitty hatchet as well as my brush hook to play with. I must say this thing is not a toy, took a little to get used to but after that worked very well, brush up to about 1 1/2 in one stroke, more of course for thicker. I think once I put a wrist strap on it and make a new sheath (the stock one is vinyl) this will be a neat addition to the kit.

I have always wanted to play with one of those. I really like my GB mini and thought it might be fun to compare.
