This is the latest. The liner has been dyed and a border cut in post dying. The sheath is super stout. 8-9 oz lined with 3 oz, all veg tanned.

Damn Andy! I have never seen a guy make the progress you have. I have one of your first sheaths for my Fallkniven F1, and it is a fine piece of work, but it looks like another maker compared to this. That was what? 2-3 whole months ago?

Really beautiful work.

Norm

Andy, Norm is correct, your work shows that of years and not weeks of experience. Very, very nice. When are you going to show the snake and silver inlay work?
Well done, keep it up.

Dick

Hey Andy, that's one great looking sheath. I can guarantee that the owner is going to be very happy!

I'm just kinda intuitive about these things....

So, stil, you recognize that knife???

It ships today.

I've been considering inlay work. I'm going to be experimenting for a while with dyes now. They'll add something. Then I'll do inlaying and carving.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

I received this sheath today. The workmanship is fantastic. It retains the knife very well and looks great doing it.
Thanks Andy!

Sure its been said . Everything from the handle wrap to the rugged nature of the sheath is outstanding ,

The sheath looks like it could cut a swath all by itself .

Thats great Stil. Keep in touch OK? It was a pleasure to make a sheath for you. Lemme know if you need more. I'm totaly suprised it got there this quickly with the holiday and all that. Awesome.

Thanks Kevin. I'll tell you one thing. That knife is damn sharp as hell, and could certainly cut a swath.

It already cut a swath through my left thumb! I was careless about resheathing it and paid the usual price for inattentiveness.

The knife cut me all the way to the bone and neatly severed a tendon on the way. The less than ideal kydex sheath was partly to blame, but the real culprit was stupidity.

Andys' sheath is far superior functionally and aesthetically.

I already have some other ideas Andy. I'll be in touch.

Cutting a tendon is a bear. When my table saw tore my hand open my Dr. was amazed I didn't cut any tendons. He kept holding the wound open and watching me wiggle my figers. You could plainly see all the tendons wiggling with each movement. Lucky.

Glad you like it bro. Lemme know.
