And I'm giving it one last go. I don't the plainness of any plain Sebenza.
I'm really picky about the unique graphics, and have been waiting for one I could live with.
I thought I'd like the Tanto sebs, but I let those go.
I thought I'd like the large regular Sebs, but I let those go.
I finally handled a small classic, and I enjoyed how it felt,
so I think I finally found one that I'm going to enjoy once and for all.
And I'll keep it for a good long time!

It's got a simple, but bright graphic, and a jewel insert, amber.
It's funny how some knives are big, but they don't feel right, and some knives are small and they don't feel right.
I though for certain that a big Sebbie was for me, but it isn't.
I also thought that an SNG would be fine for me, but I prefer the SMF handle.
(Of strider knives)
I guess handling is something you just have to do with the Sebs.
 
Handling is always a good idea. My HD-7 feels just like my Mission MPF. I even went to DeWalt tools cause they felt good in my hand. Good luck!

I've had a change of heart with Sebenzas. Picked up a small Sebenza and didn't like the difficulty I had in opening it (probably user error), so I returned it. Later got a large Sebenza, and like it a good deal. So now its time for me to try another small Sebenza, next time I have some spare cash laying around.

"Handle" a Sebenza ?? Use it ! Today it was open boxes, peel apple , strip wire insulation ! Whatever is necessary.
 
Okay, here it is. I think I can live with this one. I've never liked them too plain or too fancy. And all of that wavy twisty graphics has never done anything for me either. No offense, Lisa, it's only my opinion.
BTW, I don't actually own this knife yet, it's on the way.

Nice one, WalkingMan! I can relate to your views on the Sebs. I'm partial to the Classics but have the Regulars as well. Only Unique Graphic models too. Congrats!
 
Had one Sebenza so far, and it was a unique graphic. Sold it. Was enough to let me know that I want some inlays. Next one will be a micarta inlay small Classic.

That one does look nice though. :thumbup:
 
I really like the inlays, but the split design doesn't do it for me.
I really wish they'd make the classic inlay like the standard.
