You folks are a rotten influence on me. An absolutely rotten, terrible influence. Because of all your efforts, I could no longer resist, and finally broke down and bought a BK2 to add to my collection. I even went ahead and ordered an ESEE 5/6 accessory pouch to bolt onto the side of the sheath.

Do stop complaining....and quit bleeding all over the forum. We've ALL been bit....welcome to the rowboat. Besides, we're a GOOD influence. Hence you have BK&T steel instead of some other nasty habit.

Hey CharleyK.........

Welcome...... The antivenin for Beckerbite is soooooo inexpensive....... Another Becker eases the pain and swelling and frequently brings a long lasting feeling of euphoria ........

Kidding aside, thank you for your business and I hope your new Two works it's tail off for you......... I look forward to pix......

Words of wisdom from The Man himself! Next up a BK9, then a 14/24/11, and don't forget a 'tweener' 15,16, or 17.

Grats on your new steel! the 2 is an amazing knife that will not let you down!

I've already got a BK9. I've got two actually, one old styled. I've also got a 7, 10, two 13s, two 14s, and a 17. And in a few days the BK2 will be joining their ranks.

What? No 5 or 15?!

Ya know, they're still on sale! In fact, I do believe I hear them calling your name. ;)

Perfect, you are on the right track.

I agree with TravisH ... you need a 5 or 15 ;) slicey goodness.

Like I said, you people have been a rotten influence on me. I would've had the BK5 and 15 by now if it weren't for you flashing other awesome blades at me all the time, distracting me from what's important.

My bad.

I'll just leave this here :D

have more and even 2 pcs of the same model will never hurts bro .. hehe

something good to barter with in case something happen too

Ok now you've admitted it, that's the first step. Second step is a 9 and a 16. Trust me. They are the best.

Yeah, it's like a 21 step program....problem is, step 21 won't be available until next year....and steps 1 & 6 are really difficult; step 8 only a handful of people have ever completed. You're gonna be in this program for a long, long time.

Yes like Mr. E said...another Becker does seem to ease the pain...and another...and another and........

So I got my BK2 today, and this thing is a beast. Holding it in the hand, it's easy to understand why the BK9 was never made at a full quarter inch thickness. It's also easy to get a sense of power when you feel the heft on this beast.

I've done my usual signature work to the knife in terms of appearance and accessories. Pictures will be up once I get the ESEE accessory pouch here and bolted on.

The sheath is a serious pain though. Not necessarily the nylon strap, that's easy enough to fix. No the real problem is the glass filled nylon portion, and how tightly it grips the blade Holy **** I can barely get the thing out, and it's hard on the thumb to try. Is there a way to loosen up the hold it has on the blade?

Pull the blade out enough to spread the top portion of the sheath. Leave the blade sitting there partially out with the sheath spread for a few hours. That loosened it up for me

That's good advice TBL. I wedged the BK2 into the gap and left it there. Now it's a little more merciful on the thumb when drawing. I may have to leave it that way for a few days for best results.

Got the pouch, got it installed, finally got some pictures.

No before pics, just the aftermath of my work done to it.
