First and worst (because i was so young, about 8) Cutting a bagle with my thumb in the hole. Homemade strawberry jam!

Last tuesday I left my thumb in the way when I was closing a (then broken) Scallion. Still looks all ugly, but it's healed.

It's ok. I'd bet the majority of us knew what you ment. You don't need to be able to spell to be part of the machine around here. I'm still here anyway!

I was closing a brand new Spyderco Endura SE, I hadn't owned it for more than 10 minutes, the blade dropped and cut my index finger. I bled for about 20 minutes...
thanks, i suck at spelling

No grammar nazis around here I hope.

Spydie bite would be when I first got my Delica FFG (first spydie). Dropped it and cut my finger. No harm to the knife.

First memorable cut was when I was 5 or 6 when I first handled a Victorinox Classic. For some unknown reason I ran the blade across my thumb. Split it wide open and went crying to mommy.

My Military gave me the smallest of cuts when I was closing it at work the other day, small cut but it just did not want to stop bleeding but I bandaged and all is good.

Most memorable...

Either the time I dropped a knife on my foot and was lucky enough to have it land square on some kind of big blood vessel (*drop* - *thunk* - *Squirt* - "OH SHI-"), or the night I learned that knives and bourbon don't mix .

( Not to be attempted with Jim Beam and a Kabar. )

Not the two worst cuts I've ever had, but definitely the two dumbest. :o

tried to swing the blade of a brand new CS spartan closed (one handed)...not a good idea btw. landed right on my index finger...cut it almost to the bone. its only your knife when you get cut by it ;)

Silly knife dude alcohol doesn't mix well with knife play. :D

my military bit me in the a** when I was practicing to open it with a zip tie in the hole. Since the military is tip down, i had to take it out and draw it across my pants toward the rear. it happened when i fumbled and the blade just barely opened. cut was about 1/4 inch deep in the side of my a** cheek. :grumpy:

True mark of blade enthusiastic is when he drops knife and it cuts him, is that he checks blade for damage, even he is bleeding at the same time :D

I've been bitten many times by different knives. Last bite with Spyderco. I received my Delica 4 and checked how pivot was and how it was going to close one handed. Pivot was surprisingly loose and it closed to my finger.

I had so used Spyderco Caly 3 and its finger choil I kinda forgot Delica 4 didn't had one...

I have been bitten by my Police model too many times to count but the best bite wasn't on me but my friends thumb. I had just gotten my Police model back from Spyderco (not only replaced the screws on the clips but put a FACTORY edge on it, cleaned and oiled it free of charge.) and I was showing it off at work to my friend who happened to my supervisor. He wanted to handle it so him being a good ol' boy I let him, sure enough as he was closing it the blade fell and bit him on the thumb......(ha ha). I went delivered my route came back and he comes over and shows me that the "Damm" cut is still bleeding!!
