And maybe you were, too.

So here's an example. Looks good here.

All in all, not a bad deal for $40 and free shipping.

NOW......I gotta send it away for some touching up and some KOA!!

:)

I bought one when I was at the Buck Factory last month and I can't see any blemishes on the knife. I kind of like the little bugger....especially for that price!!

I certainly don't see anything on that one that would turn me off to a purchase. In fact... I might have to head over there :D !

I wonder though, could the "Blem" be that filled triangle between the wood and the bolster? Are they all filled, or could that be it?

Nice knife, regardess of Blem status.

Robert

I'm thinking that what makes it a "Blem" involves the spacing at the front, (triangle, as you say, that I have shown) and the poorly done hole at the back and the tiny blemish a little above and to the left of the hole which seems to be the mark of an errant drill.

Nothing real bad, but I wanted one with the "Custom" stamp for re-handling anyway, so this works out fine.

:)

I just bought one at the Buck Factory Store yesterday for $32+tax. It had a small nick on the scale near the bolster, cant hardly see it.

Envy you guys who can shop at the store.

I had to wrestle mine off that nasty old auction site.

I am on the east coast now, but was out in Colorado backpacking in July. When I got finished backpacking, I drove about 1,000 miles out of my way to go to the Buck Factory. It was worth every mile. :)

yeah.. Stumps had to drive out of his way and then put up with me.. :p

and we make the best blems in the business :D

Stumps......you show commendable drive and ambition.

And yes, no doubt the best "Blems" in the known universe.

Well, this fine Blem has been shipped out for KOA.

It's all over but the "After" pictures.

:)
