I have received a lot of calls and emails saying they got a suspicious friend request on Facebook from me. It isn't me ... I don't use Facebook for anything but seeing photos of my grandson and a few other photos people post. If you get any message, it isn't from me.

As Rick mentioned, it's probably just a phishing attempt with a name similar to yours.

Hack-clone-phising ... all the same in this case ... it isn't me. From what I have seen in replies to the folks who reported it was that Facebook did not consider it in violation of the rules?????

This phishing talk brings to mind:
Three men showed up at the riverside.
The first took out a little white ball, poured something on it, and tossed it in the water. Immediately he pulled up a 1 pound fish.
The second pulled out a round disc, poured something on it, and tossed in his line. Immediately he pulled in a 2 pound fish.
The third too out a little pink thing and tossed his line in. He immediately pulled up a 3 pound fish.
They all looked at each other and asked what bait the others were using.
The first fellow said he was a Methodist pastor and he used left over bread form the communion plate and a little grape juice.
The second said he was a priest and used a communion wafer and holy wine.
The third shrugged and said, "I'm a mohel."

That's a good one

It is.
There is a specific way to report it.
a relative had the same thing happen.

open a text file and copy paste the address of you and the bastard account

Go to the bastard account
The three dots
Find support or report profile
pretending to be someone
Me

(or a friend) - then the person's name, then click the bastard profile.
make sure your friends report the bastard, not you by mistake.

You're the only Stacy Apelt on there, so maybe some of the reports did something.

I had to look it up too.

I new a leather guy, a Mohel brought him an entire box of little leather bits. Not knowing what they were, my friend made a wallet from the pieces.

Strangely, first thing every morning the wallet turned into a suitcase.
