I'm selling off a large portion of my collection, and I've decided to get what remaining productions I'm interested in, and to start buying customs. I'm not saying I won't buy productions ever again, if I see something that I like, I'll probably pick it up, but I just have way too many knives. I'm keeping some real junkers, like a Rapala I just picked up, and a Mora that is a hell of a worker. My Buck 110 custom and my Bog Dog are not going anywhere, so you can stop with all of your emails
. My Delica has proven herself time and time again, and is not leaving my side for a while. I'm looking at these makers knives currently,
Bud Nealy Cave Bear
Busse Badger Attack, Leaner Meaner Street
Chiro 75 skinner
CRK Green Beret Yarborough 7", Mountaineer, large Sebenza, small Sebenza
Dan Farr bowie, drop point hunter
Lucas Burnley Evolution
Randall Model 1, Model 5
Razorback Knives big camp knife with African buffalo horn scales
Simonich Crowfoot
Strider PT, SMF, SNG all drop point
Swamp Rat Ratweiler, Rat Trap, Rat Daddy
Robert Terzuola ATCF grey fighter linerlock
Now, some of these are just high end productions, but I thought to include them too. I'm looking at Benchmade, Spyderco, Victorinox, Leatherman etc, but I've decided to try to stick to high end productions and customs for my needs. I've set aside a lot of knives for my little brother also. I'm excited to have entered this new phase of knife buying, and while I won't be able to buy as much and as often as I had been, it's much more exciting to use handmade knives.
