Honestly, I didn't know much about RAT Knives until January when I saw a link to win a free RC-6... and wouldn't you know, I won one. Since then I've read everything I can about the knives and company.

The day the RC-6 does comes in will be a truly great day. But I have also thought about getting a RC-3 and would have pulled the trigger on a RC-3 with orange handles if I would have found one. Now I've decided to get the Izula for sure. I might even pull the boys down, man up, and get the pink one :)

That means now, I have to get 2 RAT knives... and haven't even looked at the RC-4 or 5 yet. I'm sure when I do, I'll want one of those as well.

That means I get a free knife, but go broke buying up everything else in the meantime! Oh goodness. Now I'll be sleeping on the couch for a LONG time, just because of RAT goodness!
 
Good luck on the RC Goodness ! :D.....I think the RC3 & RC6 would be a good combo or even the Izula & RC6 :thumbup:....Enjoy the RAT's & the Couch ;):eek:

If you got the 6 coming, I'd pair it with the smaller blades as TTD stated. Then eventually get em all in every color available. Just pace yourself.

If your wife gives you any lip, just tell her the OD green/ orange RC4 is for my brown boots, and the desert tan model for my tan boots. Did I mention that I got you the pink one honey. :thumbup::D

Just don't tell her what it matches:eek:
 
Welcome to the addiction. Have you looked into Busse, Swamp Rat, Scrap Yard knives, yet, lol

That's not a bad thing to have stuck in your head. Especially if it leads to repentance and a saving faith in Jesus.:thumbup::)
 
See, if your wife starts giving you lip.... Thats when you get a heart broken look on your face, hold out the pink Izula and say.
"But, I bought this one for you! I thought RAT knives was something we could enjoy together" :D

yes, I already got bitten by the ScrapYard bug. I have a CGDF and DCDM. I really like them, but I'm thinking I might like RAT's better. We'll see!
 
I know the feeling, I bought an RC-3 in December and bought a tan RC-4 last week. I have to have the Izula RC-5 and RC-6 and I am also going to need that orange handled RC-3 when it comes out. The knives are just too good and too reasonably priced to pass up.
 
Izula, tan RC-4 SE, SERE-5 are on the must have list. Terrible, isn't it :p.
