This is the longest I've carried the same knife for awhile! I guess it would really be about 5 months for the same model.
I found an old swiss champ/champion at a flea market that had broken scissors. I really liked it and didn't know you could still score a new Champion plus on the internet, even though they are listed as discontinued, evidently some sites still had them new. So my wife bought me a new champion plus for an early Christmas present in November. It has been really handy and the only knife I've carried since Nov.
I'm used to carrying a large buck in my pocket so I don't even notice the champion plus. I am thinking of getting a sheath and carrying the Champion plus on my belt and then carrying one of my larger/ but lighter pocket clipped models of bucks in my pocket. That is the only thing about carrying a swiss army knife, don't thing It would be much protection should I ever need it.
