I've edc'd the same knife for 3 month!

This is the longest I've carried the same knife for awhile! I guess it would really be about 5 months for the same model.
I found an old swiss champ/champion at a flea market that had broken scissors. I really liked it and didn't know you could still score a new Champion plus on the internet, even though they are listed as discontinued, evidently some sites still had them new. So my wife bought me a new champion plus for an early Christmas present in November. It has been really handy and the only knife I've carried since Nov.
I'm used to carrying a large buck in my pocket so I don't even notice the champion plus. I am thinking of getting a sheath and carrying the Champion plus on my belt and then carrying one of my larger/ but lighter pocket clipped models of bucks in my pocket. That is the only thing about carrying a swiss army knife, don't thing It would be much protection should I ever need it.

Victorinox makes a lot of really nice pouches. I use one when I carry my swisschamp. Makes the weight issue vanish and also as you stated you can also carry a OHO folder too. :thumbup:

I carry a folder, sak, light, and multi everyday. Yea its a bit much but its what I feel comfortable with having. I've also found the belt I like the best for my carry is a leather garrent 1.5" law pro belt.
 
I've said it before, but I envy you guys and chicks who carry the same knife for a good while. Though I can carry the same SAK for several days, I almost never make it through the day with the same folder.
 
Long before I discovered this place and branched out, I carried a Spyderco Endura every day for over ten years. I just never gave a thought to variety in my EDC. Nowadays it's a weekly change up:D
 
I carried the same knife for near 10 years lol... Now I'm back to a 5 blade rotation plus my multitool and other every day accoutrements .

I'd recommend the sheaths section and have one made for you...
