Got this a while back and when I took it out of the box I just thought "Oh, no way. This thing is HUGE!" I was pretty sure it would just occupy a slot in my storage box. I was wrong. Maybe I just got a good one, but the opening action on this thing is perfect. It flips easily and opens with the thumbstuds easily. The blade is great and the handle is comfortable. Most surprising though, is how easy it is to EDC. Yep, it's large, but the handle is relatively narrow, and the shape allows it to ride in my pocket quite easily. It's not any more awkward to carry than my full sized Griptilian.
So yes, she's a big chunky gal, but I can't get her off of my mind..... :eek:

for a second I thought this thread was going to be about the 30X. I love the way my 561 carries in the pocket, it is really thin compared to some others so you are right, it carries well. Has alot of blade and Elmax is pretty good stuff. Not sure if you've sharpened yours yet, but it's not any harder than s30 to me.

I'm still laughing about the 561 being a chunky gal....:p
 
If the 0561 is chunky gal to you, then you would be amazed at some of the "bigguns" that I've had my hands on! :D
 
My 0561 is perfect as well (got her from Kershawguy), but I wouldn't call her chunky; long and slender, with curves in the right places is more accurate of a description to me... :D Still haven't EDC'ed her yet, too obsessed with my 0780 and 0500 right now...
 
I like to have a little something extra to hold on to.... I feel like I'm going to snap the smaller knives in half.

Haha, maybe my definitions are off. There was this waitress from a bowling alley bar in college.... she was a chunky gal... lol.
