This custom made lockback folder is stainless steel with vintage 1930's red paper micarta scales. This knife is going to Atlanta Blade Show on June 3, at the Collum Custom Knives booth. If you're going, please look for him and this piece. I think this is my finest work. 46 hours was spent engraving this by hand under a microscope. The design is my own. The eye is inlaid with 24k gold. This is an album, so please click, and enlarge the images. As a result of having touched it Matt has a lot of work to do spit shining it for the show so be gentle about the condition of the micarta lol. This is my first commissioned piece! I'm very excited to be working with Matt, he's a fine knifemaker and I hope we make a big splash at the show in June. I took my first beginner's hand engraving class from Ray Cover in March last year.

Thank you for looking and for your love and support!!!

Wow, that owl is amazing! Awesome job!

When you first posted here I was very impressed. This is what I thought you might be able to do. Absolutely amazing work. Anyone would be proud to own such a work of art. BRAVO!

What a master piece. It really makes the slip joint a 'one off'.
I hope to see more of your work in the future.

I'm engraving a new knife for every major knife show in the country this year for Collum Customs! Our next project is for Blade West and it's going to be bombastic with gold and luxury scales! We'll see if I can talk him into diamonds or gems haha.

Yes, really excellent work, what with the owl inlay and goldeneye - attested to by all the great comments you've garnered here!
