I have $25 to spend (not alot right) and I'm looking for a decent knife/ peice of gear. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.

Kershaw Volt (check out the new "Volt II SS"--about $31 but very nice), or Kershaw Chill. I have the Chill, it's incredibly, gets great ratings from many users on leading retail sites, and if you look you can probably get it for under $20.

I just purchased a Mercator K55K this afternoon for exactly $25 shipped and am very excited to see how this old (1867) simple, inexpensive lockback works out.

Not much information about what you're looking to pick up, but I second the suggestion for a Kershaw Chill. Another good knife might be the kbar Dozier folder. A good slipjoint for $25 would be the AG Russell Rancher, although shipping is extra.

I just got an Ontario RAT 1 for $28 shipped on ebay. Hell of a knife for under $30.

could also keep an eye out for a Pocket Bushman from Cold Steel.

I got one for just a bit more, and it is a lot of bang for the buck for an outdoor knife.

Save ~$5 more - then get to a WallyWorld and get yourself a US-made classic - a Buck 110 Folding Hunter. You are welcome!

I know a lot of people don't like smith and wesson knives but I just picked up a S.W.A.T mbs folder on amazon for about 25$ and it's awesome. Absolutely no blade play and very good fit and finish.

I picked up a Victorinox Recruit at a large home center chain for $13. Excellent.

AG Russell has some nice items in the $20 range too, like the Hunters Scalpel and Woodswalker.

Surprised no one has said Mora yet. Some pretty nice choices for twenty bucks or less.

Drive around to all the pawn shops and you will be suprised what you can find for $25.
Broken crap and used junk is all I ever find at pawn shops or antique stores. :(
