Don't know WHAT, but I got a package. $181.95 is the charge on the M/C. Hoping it's a SAR5. Could be my much-awaited HOGASH.

i too am waiting for a package, but not for a SAR, but an ARk....

i should've picked up a SAR while i had the chance.....darnnit....:(
 
HOGASH or SAR5. Both had the same charge on my CC. Either way, looks like you got some INFI coming!! :D

Maybe your SAR5. Mine came today! It's a perfect all-arounder. Wish I had ordered a dozen!
 
Nope. No luv. :( Maybe tomorrow. Or worse - I never paid for my LE and that was the charge. OH THE HUMANITY! (That's happened before. LOL)

I finally got SAR'd today. WOOHOO!!!! Got my black/green G10 and my OD/B&O ones.

Well, Jerry is right - it's like gripping a hammer. I didn't believe it in the pix. But that's exactly what it feels like. The handle is so fat, it makes the blade look less tall.

I just compared it to my ABA - dang if the blades aren't the same tall-ness. Yet the SAR allows the blade to come a lot closer to the hand. I like that. I've found the ABA to be too choily for the most part.

I can imagine hammering in tent pegs chopping and slicing various camp items in addition to gouging out the guts of various adversaries with this bad boy. Handfilling!

REALLY odd is the OD/orange FEELS better in my hand. ???? It's the same knife except for color. LOL
 
More peepee dance - my Micarta SAR5's have been paid! 3 days ago. They could be here this weekend!!!!
 
If the CG ash and HOG ash were thinner stock (1/4" say) I'd of been all over that. Glad the skinny ash came out when it did, cause I was about to crack and get a CG anyway and the way I was thinking is that if I get a CG I may as well get the LE and HOG. Would have been devastating to the wallet.
