I've got the Mojo!!

I just picked up two new Busses from my good friend Andre Dumouchel. After spending about two hours at his table at The Crossroads of the West gun show I finally decided to buy a Mr. Mojo and a BB#3. I figure that they will complement my BB#7 and my Mean Street. Andre was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I can not say enough nice things about him. He lets me fondle his knives and monopolize his time like I am his only customer. There is never any pressure to buy a knife from Andre. I never feel like he is trying to get me to buy a Busse. I feel like I am talking with a good friend about some knives that we both love.
Andre,
Thank you again.

Now this is what I am thinking about doing with the BB#3 and the Mojo. I plan on piggy backing the BB#3 onto the Mojo. That way I will have a medium large knife and a small knife all in one package. Any ideas on weather or not this is a good idea. Any ideas on how I should go about doing this? The Mojo is in On Scene Tactical sheath (I believe) and the BB#3 is in a Cordura and Kydex sheath.
On a side note. You have got to see Mr. Mojo in person to really appreciate it. I looks much different then the pictures.

OK, you're making me feel even worse for not having one. In what way does it look different?

Re the piggyback sheath, sounds like a great idea. Some puukkos are carried that way. I bet our own Normark [Eric] could figure out something for you.

HJK,

Its got a much more pronounced recurve, which I love. It also has a distal taper so that its not tip heavy its more handle heavy. I have a BB#7 that is tip heavy. The Mojo is faster in the hand and it also feels lighter. I feel that the BB#7 will be more of my work horse knife. The BB#7 is more like a beast of a knife and the Mojo feels more refined, not delicate just different. I really thought about getting a SHIIE, but it was not different enough from my BB#7, as far as size and weight go. The Mojo is very different. Its my understanding that the Mojo is more of a fighter.
I hope that this helps you.

Hey Shawn...

Piggybacking a BB3 onto one of my Mojo sheaths shouldn't be a problem at all... Actually it may be quite simple,, especially when you are putting a Cordura sheath onto a Concealex sheath..

It is much harder to marry both sheaths if they were of Concealex...
Spacing and all that is a pain..

I will however need both sheaths, not the knives...

I've never seen a BB3 in a Cordura sheath...
Hmmmmm...

Drop me a note...

Thanks Guys..

Eric....

I like the Piggyback idea but I'd keep combats with combats and basics with basics. Put the MS with the mojo. Kenny Rowe can also help with leather sheaths but Eric is top dog with kydex.

Eric,
I am pretty sure that it is Cordura. Its got an Kydex or Concealex insert with a synthetic outer covering. My goal was to be able to remove the BB#3 from the Mojo and use them seperatly if I wanted. I do like your sheaths Eric.
Ryu,
I got the BB#3 to go with the Mojo and to be a general around the house knife. My wife thinks that it is for her:) little does she know that I've got plans for that little knife.

I just picked up a Mojo and I am going to have a custom Kenny Rowe sheath made up for it with a piggyback pouch for a small utility knife and a small diamond stone. Should be a perfect do all rig.

No, I am thinking about one of those sheaths that he makes for big camp knives with the swivel feature. That way, this big rig will move out of the way when I sit down.

Does anyone know when the Mister Mojos will be ready for shipping? Are they currently available exclusively at knife shows?

[Edited to add:]
Danbo, are you getting a Rowe swing sheath like the style Matt Lamey uses on some of his fighters? Funny... I was thinking of doing the same. :)

I got a call from Dave, I think it was, at Busse [wow, their customer service has improved!] The info I got was that the mojos were optimistically about 3 weeks away. Also, there should be a kydex sheath with a teklok. Sounds really, really good to me.
I have a couple of Rowes for my Steelheart and NO. He does great work.
Normark too. But that swivel feature sure would be convenient. Can you lock it so it doesn't swivel around when you don't want it to?

You can't lock the swing sheath but you can have a tie-down cord put on so it remains attached to your thigh. This makes it a great carry system for hiking, climbing, running, etc.

Hey Guys..

If anyone is interested I've got a Mr.Mojo Concealex sheath that a customer ordered and changed his mind..

{SOLD} Thanks Seth.:)

Eric...

Wulf, I am not sure of what Matt uses, but its probably the same sheath. I have one of these sheaths for my John Fitch camp knife and I love it. It even has a snap on the belt loop so that you dont have to take your belt off to take the knife off or put it on.

You know that you under the Mojo's spell when you buy the sheath before you buy the knife :)

Andre, Here I come,.... see you in Sept. Blade show west.

Hey Seth...

I don't know.. I think you are doing it the right way..:)

You definately know what you'll be getting in both directions..
Picking your gear wisely is a Very smart move...

Thanks

Eric...
