I've got these little Uncle Henry's that I've had since I was a kid...

...They're American made and not in very good shape. My uncle used to win them with pull tabs and give them to me when I was a youngen. I'm only 29 now, so it's not like they're super old. I was probably between the ages of 6 and 10 when they were new, you do the math. Sure wish I would have taken better care of them.

Would something like these even be of any interest to anyone? If so, what type of value would they hold in the shape they're in. What types of products can I use to get the shine back out of the bolsters?

Thanks to anyone who might know anything about these little knives.

That 707UH Gambler with the scissors is the more uncommon of the lot, but all of them are very nice Uncle Henry knives. Flitz and Simichrome are probably the preferred polishers for the bolsters. You can apply it with a cotton rag. I prefer the liquid version of Flitz for nickle silver. Don't need anything else and it will shine them up nicely.

The LB1 is nicknamed The Cub, and the 807 is The Junior.

I don't know about everyone else, but I can't see where they were poorly taken care of. Those are all fine examples.

I agree. They are knives, meant to be used. But it doesn't look like you abused them. The pay-it-forward comment was a good one. These are good quality knives.

How did you feel each time that your uncle gave you a knife? Pay it forward and find a young person (or 3) who will treasure the knife in a similar way. :)

That's a great idea. I still want to clean them up and hopefully extend their lives. Finding these a while ago really brought back some great memories and there's no doubt these little knives helped shape the knife nut in me.

Thanks to everyone for the info and kind replies, I appreciate it.
