My sebenza hasn't left my side for the last month. Everyday it's in my pocket. I had it a year before I even started carrying it. It was just kind if a piece of art in my drawer. Then I chopped off the lanyard and put it in my pocket. It's history from there on. It's become so smooth pivot wise since I started carrying it and I know I can trust it. In fact I don't normally carry a knife in basketball shorts because they tend to sag, but my large 21 cf disappears. It actually moved my military right out of my pocket.

I edc the first day and sharpened the first week.

its a great knife. I even had the courage to make fuzz sticks with the sebenza, I thought it would scuff the nice polished hollow ground but it looked brand new after some oil.

I know sebenzas arent for making fuzz sticks but its a good way for me to test edge retention when I sharpen.
 
I remember getting my first Sebenza 8 years ago. It sat in a drawer and I would take it out and carefully admire it, similar to you. I finally started carrying it, and the rest as they say is history!
 
Glad to hear you are using it and liking it. I use mine all the time. Like you I have come to really appreciate the smoothness of the pivot. I also very much appreciate the usefulness of this tool.

Why not? I think this is exactly what the Sebenza is for... Hard use, light use, fun use! Awesome bro!
 
Sebenzas excel as hard use knives. I use mine on a construction site on a daily basis.
 
I feel the same way. Mine doesn't leave my pocket unless it is to carry a different CRK.
