what is wrong with me? now i know ill get some more use out of this NIB knife.
they should be here in the next couple days...im excited to see how much they will change the feel of the knife

It took me a little while to order them too. After installing them I can't believe I waited so long.

What grips did you get?

Jeremy

I loved mine before the grips. I ran it for about 6 months before I got tired of the sweaty stinky para cord after a while. Couldn't really use it for food prep without having to deal with keeping the cord clean. With the micarta handles I love the knife that much more.

I actually ordered mine before my BK-11 arrived. Love the knife, which I have wrapped in paracord for now, but can't wait for my micarta scales to arrive from Saint Cutlery. Should be some time next week.

New grips or not, what I would like to know is how the someone kept a BK11 new in the box for over a year with out actually using it.

That is is illegal in many states.

Because it's just WRONG.....:D

This! It makes a huge difference to me anyways.... .I ordered them at the same time so I've never used it without scales but I've handled it while making sheaths and the scales are just great.

the BK2 i bought years ago gets enough use for all my knives combined

ok, i got em today, and i do like the feel. they make this little knife alot more comfortable in my big mitts.
and id like to add, i wasnt 100% honest when i said my BK11 was NIB. the blade is untouched, but the bottle opener has came in handy a couple different times. :D

NIB huh - that's just weird. Took me a while to order micarta for mine too but I'm *really* glad I have it now. Good stuff!
