i had the oportunity to give it a test on a recent
rafting trip.

i promised not to post pics till chuck had it in his
hands.

Let the nightmares begin. . . . This monster and I have been dancing for quite a while. The design is straight out of Chuck's twisted mind. It has made me hate Chuck.

It really is an amazing design concept. It combines the straight handle, ergo, flying tiger, and bird's beak handle designs!

These are not the final grinds as we will take them a bit further, heat treat, surface grind, and wet grind to finish. Once the grinds are finished, this bad boy will do everything that Chuck has designed it for.

Oh yeah, just in case I forgot to mention this previously, I now hate Chuck! ;)

Forgot to mention......price?????? I'd bet it's as scary as the blade itself.:D
 
Just a thought for those of us picking up our jaws still. The going price for a "TRUE" custom is $100.00 a inch, $2800.00 and because the witdth of the blade and the irregular shape of the handle better tack another $600.00 for good measure bringing my estimated total to $3400.00 and that seams like a low guess for such a massive blade.
