I've lost interest in my folder collection. Have you ever felt this way?

Ok guys, I've never felt this way before. I've lost interest in my folder collection.
I've always loved collecting folding knives. I have user sebbie large and small, a handfull each of Benchmade, Zt, spyderco, and kershaws. I could spend hours fondling and flicking them. Even when I add a new knife, I've never felt despair at my collection. But now, I really don't care about my collection like I used to. I think I've lost all interest in it. It's like I'm depressed!

What event might have caused this, you ask. Welll, today I touched an 0777, and it touched me back. It only happened after I held the knife in my hands and flicked it open and shut. I just want to say thanks to ZT for making this knife. My folder collection will be complete with just 1 knife. Well, I suppose I'll need to keep the dyad mini because it's post office legal.

No, I don't want to sell or trade you my knives right now, so don't please pm me about them.

ps. sorry for the photos, not adjusted in photoshop whatsoever. I was trying to snap them before the last bit of daylight went away.

I'm actually not a huge fan of the 0777 but one thing I do love so much is the attention to detail in the different metals and how the match up with the handles. When the knife is closed I love the attention to detail Kershaw took to make sure the black part of the blade follows the black handles!

Looks like a great knife if it has to come down to one haha. I hope I can get one as well, and still feel the way I do about my others.

I thought it would be a neat knife, but then I actually held it and flicked it. That's when everything changed.

I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I'm recently getting back into acquiring knives again after about a year off due to my love affair with the Cold Steel American Lawman.

Iv had a lot of hobbies......knives are the one that after 3 years I still get exited about.

Because I use them is why, there a useful tools and there beautiful works of art.....

All I can say is come back in a month and see if you don't need another knife:D

Thats what you get for buying "super knives". I appreciate knives that are top performers yet reasonably priced. There are so many.

I still love all my knives, but if I could only have one, this would definitely be it. I've never been able to say that before, even about such classics as my Umnumzaan and Hinderer.

lol thats why Im holding off selling everything. If this feeling doesn't go away, ZT will have saved me alot of money.

Honestly, I'm a little worried and relieved.
I'm glad to have some reprieve from the collecting bug, but I kinda like collecting.

Perfect time to start stashing some funds for future purchases that will be inevitable! Not that it won't still be the best knife perhaps in your mind, but only one way to know for sure, try out some others.
