Since I've purchased my CQC 7v, its been in my pocket or my pack. I can't explain it. My PM2 has been reduced to a nightstand dust bunny. I don't know if its because I can wave the knife from just about anywhere or the rock solid feeling in my hand. I had to get that off my chest and I knew you all would understand. I absolutely must have this knife with me at all times. Superior products and great owners.

I know exactly how you feel. My 7a is the one knife I never think twice about using no matter what I need to cut.

Sometimes throughout the day I'll go hide somewhere and wave it out of my pocket just to overcome the urge lol. I know there isn't a "finger guard" bit it's the perfect knife for me. Lycosa I plan on adding others. Definitely a jungle if I can scrape together the funds. I'm a big fan of the v grind though.

I felt exactly the same with my 7v and it has thicker handle scales then my other Emersons which feels really comfortable and solid in hand. Love the V grind as well!

Dooku- Use a palm loaded grip for thrusting. And, you will love the Commander, almost as much as the 7.
