I've had my 2 for about 10 months now and it has been through hell and back. When I purchased this knife I was really just starting to collect them and I knew very little about knives. This was and still is my first fixed blade. When I was deciding on which fixed blade I wanted it came down to the BK2 and USMC Fighting Knife. I ended up choosing the 2 because of everything good that was said about it. Everything anyone had to say about this knife was positive! After actually using this knife all I have to say is that I feel that this is a sharpened pry-bar. You can complete any task with this knife! Now knowing everything that I have come to know about knives I have learned that Becker knives are well known for being somewhat affordable and super rugged. Now I really want some more Beckers! In the next month or so I am hoping to acquire a 9, 14, and a 15. As i like to call it..."the deadly combo" The 9 as my hard-use survival, the 15 as my belt knife(so I will be used for just about everything around the house and at the campsite), and the 14 as my go-to knife for small tasks like carving, whittling, and EDC knife. I really hope I will get these soon because I love Beckers<3

nice! enjoy the tank!

i just have the 11 and the 2. but soon i will be getting the 16 and the 9. i honestly think the 16 looks to be the best for most cutting needs, unless your processing firewood. im sure ill end up with them all but i can only afford to get a couple toys a month especially with xmas coming up and i have 2 little angles that deserve them some presents! but before too long i think everyone who really uses their knives and tests what a becker can do, gets them all!

Hey Flipper.....

Thanks for the kind words and for buying one of my blades.......You will like the 9 I think and be amazed at what you can accomplish with the 14.......

Either way you can't have just one. It's unnatural. I got my first Becker in January and since then I've been averaging one a month.

The 14 has probably the largest range of use in the Becker lineup in my opinion (small enough to edc, and use for fine work, big enough to do a lot more than you would think) that said the 16 is pretty close to the perfect all-rounder for me and once you spend some time with it and make some minor mods to your liking, its like having your best friend on your belt.

ps. the 9 is the king for good reason, recently laid hands on one at a local sporting goods store (couldn't buy it, no funds) and its much the same feeling as picking up a sword :D

I definitely want a patrol machete. Those look sweet. Anyone got a link to the patrol machete/junglas chop-off thread?

Get you some.

Ya know that would probably cause some issues for me. im normally ready to go anywhere in 5-10 minutes, i have no interst in getting pretty. but with a selection like that i would be starring confused like my wife looking into her "shoe closet".

Now your thinking right. LOL Shoes & purses for the wifes and Knives & guns for the husbands. Seriously though, you are absolutely right. I stop & think: what will i be doing & what blades do i want to bring along. Time consuming for sure. LOL :D
