Before joining this forum, I had never heard of Mora Knives. Well after reading a bazillion recommendations for the Mora, I finally got one. Wow is all that I can say. I bought a Companion HD in Carbon and am extremely impressed. The edge was not great out of the box, but a little touch up and it was hair splitting sharp. Even the sheath is ok. I can see this being my "around the house" utility knife. Best $14 buck I've spent in a while.
 
Try a Hultafors Heavy Duty if you can, cheaper than the Mora and if you break one you have been doing something very wrong.
