My quest for a good survival/camp knife lead me back to this forum after a long hiatus. I started off with a cheap chopper from Cold Steel - has worked fine so far, but lacks soul and I cant get over the fact where its made. That led me to the Scrapyard/Swamprat line (Busse's were too expensive two weeks ago when I started this project).

So, in the past two weeks I've purchased:

1 - Swamprat Ratmandu
2 - Swamprat Warden
3 - Swamprat Chopweiler
4 - Scrapyard SOD

Hmmm, Busse too expensive???? The Ratmandu is an awesome, well designed all-around knife and well, the Chopweiler seems like it was made for my hand - just got it a few hours ago and I've already hacked up a tree in my backyard:D

Gotta have a Busse now so I started a college fund for the next version of the satin BM to show up as I figured every good man should own one:cool:

Nice collection so far!
Love that Chopweiler
You better start a fund for
an extended stay at the Busse Ford Clinic
I think you got "it" bad :D

I *LOVE* my standard BWM. Nothing fancy, but I didn't get one for fancy :)

RMD is my use-for-most-things blade tho. Bargain of the century really. Until the company store / busse combat offers Boss Jacks as standard fare, at least.

Oh, I thought you were creating a college fund for Jerry's kids. (Not "Jerry's Kids" but Jerry Busse's kids. . . his children . . . by his own loins. Nevermind. Leave me alone and stop laughing!)

Back to my topic at hand - we are ALL helping with the college fund for Jerry's kids. LOL

You could have bought two Busses with the money you spent on those four knives :). Nice lineup though.

resingirl had a college fund, but I spent it on Busses.

oh, wait ... that's not what you meant .... nevermind. :foot::rolleyes:
