This is an integral that we just finished. It is made of D2 steel with a 4.25 inch blade. The handle is made of walrus ivory handle with black liners and stainless bolts. The knife will be heading to a patient customer in Texas in a few days.

A view from the back of the handle showing the tapered tang. The blade is about 1/8 of an inch thick at the recasso and the guard is 5/8's inch thick

That's really gorgeous walnut there, the black liner (I have no idea what you used but the way it wraps around at the ends is cool) really sets it off. That's a very elegant knife you have there.

Thanks for the comments guys. Red it is the standard black liner material most knife makers use. The ivory has little spaces of translucence in it that almost lets you look under the handle material in some spots. Charlie made this knife. He loves inletting these ivory handles and is much faster than I am. I rather do stag. His fit is always perfect. Must be some of that gunsmith training coming out in him.

Whow! love the knife. Subtile, sleek, beautifull.
I like the black liners as well
