I have been running way behind this month. I had a few things that have kept me out of the shop. But I am working on getting caught back up. Here is one that I sent out today. Danbo was up this weekend and got to see this one in various stages of completion but not the completed knife. It features a 12" X 2" blade of forged W2. The guard and fittings are of damascus. The handle is a premium piece of Ivory with some great color. Overall length on this one was 17 1/4".

Craig,

That is the nicest blade that you have made to date, imho.

Terrific flow!

wow.  The whole package just "fits" perfectly -- fantastic work (as usual).

Sweetest one to date I've seen, mine included... and I have no intention of giving that one up!!! :D

Very well executed version, Craig - you really stuck the overall form on this knife! :D

Thanks everyone. When I started assembling the knife I knew I wanted a damascus oval guard, damscus spacer and ivory for the handle. I was actually planning on doing a little different shape on the handle but when I was going through my ivory stash and picked this piece up I knew I found the right piece for the bowie. It is hard to tell in my poor photo but the handle has various shades of blues, oranges and creamy tan colors in it.

Now that is a Bowie that would have me heading for the ATM machine if it were at a show :D IT's awesome, Craig. Will you be at Mount Vernon in November again? If so, I'll stop by again and see what ya got...and I'll go to ATM first
