Ivory Micarta

Can I bead blast ivory micarta, or will it look dirty and crappy like when i try to buff it? I have a little bead blasted blade knife with carbon fiber bolsters, and ivory micarta handle slabs, and I would ideally like to bead blast the whole thing. I am just wondering if anybody has done it before and if it turned out ok?

It will look ok until you handle it and then dirty.
