I'm trying to leave some bark on yours, which should buff up fairly well once the mineral oil soak is all done.

That ivory wharnie I did up for Rotte is a new design- I have issues with a lot of wharnies because I just can't get good cuts on a lot of tasks. So I dropped the edge some and pulled the handle into a good shape and it's really nice to hang onto and cut with.

Dirks... part of me says you should take this one here that's almost done that seems to not be an order (i've got another one in sheathing process that is an order) and part of me says I should take it to the gun show in a couple weeks....but...I have time to make another one.......

When I read this I thought ::Noooooo:: , but I am holding the knife now, a lot more work has been done on the handle, and DAMN it looks good! That picture does not do it justice!

I'm a huge fan of mammoth bark; it looks awesome with the browns, blues, and greens all mixed together.

ALL of the scratches on the bark are environmental. I'm debating how much to sand down.
