Fantoni it's a Italian company that have produced knives for Lonewolf, Gerber, Seaquest.
Models like "LoneWolf - Loveless Drop Point" - "Loveless City - micarta Loweless" - Loveless Drop Point Folder are made from Fantoni company.

Last year they have made with a Italian design "Tommaso Rumici" the Hide fixed blade model and this year Fantoni have produced the "Hide folder" that you may see in the video.

The knife have:
Blade: 61-62HRC CPM-S30V High-Carbon - stone wash finished
Handle: Micarta

;)

I gotta make more money cause I got a feeling that those spyderco’s are going to be coming home with me.

The italian manufacturers demonstrate again that they don't need to take lessons from anyone. The Viper David and Golia fixed knives looked awesome. And I did love the design of some of those new sturdy-looking Fox folders (for example the brown one at 4:40)

Very interesting, man! Italy is really awakening from its traditionalism: new shapes, new steels, more attention to tactical and outdoor models.

Do you know exactly when these new items will be officialy released on the market?

thanks Dagon for your appreciation about Italian Companies knives.
What you said it is true, in the last 5 years the Italian knives Companies are grown very. I think that the reason was be, the collaboration between the company and a custom designer, the use of steels with higher quality and blade more sharp.

About Golia and David Viper knives, are designed by Tommaso Rumici and they will be avaiable in the end of april.
Blade: 59-61HRC D2 steel
Handle: Micarta

About Fantoni Hide Folder will be avaiable in the end of april

About Fox knives, the first news items will be avaiable by the end of may/juin

;)

Videos like that are why I come to this forum. I love to see new and innovative knives. I hope someone brings a camcorder to all knife expos from now on.

Thanks Hoffman for the info on the Viper and Fox availability - I actually sent a mail to your shop with the same questions.

Hoffman, did the fixed Hide have same features as the folder one? In particulary, I'm curious about steel: if it was CPM S30V, how did it works?

According to your experience, could it be compared with other countries products, expecially those made in USA and Japan?

I have seen that italian manufacturers rarely use such as type of steel (same can be said about VG, ATS and other CPM series), so at which level they're at the moment?

Thanks for reply.
