I'm looking for a fixed blade IWB knife max $200..I'm looking at the Spartan one, forgot the actual name but it's $150, and looking at the CRK Professional Soldier, and I would just add my own belt loop or attachment for iwb carry. Does anyone own either of these 2 jems, or anyone IWB carry any other knives in that size or price range?

Everything Spartan and CRK make is fantastic. Great designs, great materials and great quality control equals great knives. Buy either with confidence.

Look for a review by Mistwalker in the Reviews section here for information on the Spartan blades, but know that they are all good to go.

I am a big fan of CRK and the Pro Soldier is a great little knife, but the grip is too short for me. It works OK as a necker where I can position my hand easily, but IWB I could cut myself drawing it.

I don't own, but have played with a bit, a Spartan Enyo. It's a nice little knife, well made, etc. Those sort of knives are smaller then I prefer (which is why I don't own one) but the Enyo is nice if you like that style.

They also had a matevto the Enyo, same design but with wharncliffe edge.
Very small knives like those are nice neckers, tuckaway knives, sort of like fixed blade jackknives.

I can't seem to find any knife other than the Enyo or Professional Soldier that I like better than those 2, I have smaller hands so I feel the Enyo would be fine, but I would love the PS if I could in fact wear it IWB..

Question for CRK Professional Soldier owners...will the knife still fit into its sheath with a paracord wrapped handle?

If you fully wrap the handle, no, it won't. You could cut the sheath down and I think it would work ok though.

If you can stretch your budget by another $10-20, you can pick up an Urge from Shannon Carter. It comes with an IWB kydex sheath, but I made the cross draw sheath for myself. We're working on making a sheath that can be carried both ways.

The Gryphon looks sweet though I'm not into the boot knife style much, the fall creek urge looks so sweet too! Does anyone own a spartan Enyo, I think that's where I'm leaning seems the perfect size for compact iwb carry..

I've got an Enyo. Never carried it IWB, only outside WB...it's small enough to easily forget it's onboard until you want to use it. I now carry Hinderer Flashpoints instead of the Enyo in most circumstances.

Here's the deal, the sheath isn't the best for retaining the knife, especially if handle is angled down, but keep it upward and the sheath is fine...but no kydex "click" for retention.

No click at all? I saw a review on YouTube where there was actually scratches on the sides of the blade where the retention is.

No click...sheath retention is alright but better suited for a handle-upward type carry as I assume your IWB plan would be. But at a slight downward angle, I've had the Enyo release itself on more than one occasion.

Ok good to know I will be carrying it handle up, I'm just torn between te enyo and the professional soldier ughh

Hey Dave M that urge really looks killer I'm thinking of just grabbing one of those! What is the handle length, and is the swedge sharpened? !

My review, including the dimensions, is in my signature line. The swedge isn't sharpened on mine, because I asked it not to be. I'm sure Shannon could hook you up. He's working on another one without a swedge and some wicked gimping. It looks amazing! Shannon is a knifemaker member here and his username is name, Shannon Carter.

Thanks Dave that's really an awesome knife and I like it way better than the Enyo or PS, I think this is what I'm going for, I've contacted Shannon!
