Does anyone like this style of carry? I usually carry folders tip-down so they fit into the crease of my right thigh. I find it's very comfortable and that folders up to 4" simply disappear. I also like how it conceals well and works with any type of clothes, and it secure.

I used to carry IWB on the job. Inside the waistband and under the belt works real well with a suit. Very secure, doesn't get caught up on anything like keys or a seat belt.

I also carry some folders IWB. My Delicas and Paras are perfect for that and I used to carry my mini-SERE that way. Sometimes a Caly 3, but I don't usually like TU folders IWB.

I actually don't like pocket carry unless it's in a jacket, because around here people really don't like knives.

It's a pain, so I'm thinking of getting a very small EDC for public use.

I sometimes carry iwb for certain situations/events. I don't usually do this in Arizona because its more of a pain for me to get the knife out than reaching into my pocket. But I was in Vegas last weekend and I carried this way a few times, the belt really does help hide the clip, and that is nice. I Also wasn't worried about it falling out on roller coasters and rides:D However, I do feel like it is the best way to go if you need to be discreet.

I carry everything that doesn't have alowrider clip and a few things that do IWB, flashlights, multitools, folders, fixed blades.

I can carry a leatherman wave, a full size folder and a flashlight iwb in running shorts.

The only time I really every carry IWB is when I'm wearing running shorts. If I have pockets available, I'll almost certainly carry my folder clipped in my pocket, but I can definitely see the merit of carrying IWB if you're sitting in a vehicle.

I may just have to try this for a few weeks to see what I think.

I carry my folder IWB every day. Been some pick pocketing of knives these days according to some of our local makers. They see a clip, they go for it. I have a sheath I had made for IWB for my most common EDC. I like discreet, no visible knife, nor clip, so deep pocket carry the SAK, folder IWB and a fixed blade with shirt over the handle if necessary, or around the neck. Keeps unwanted attention at bay.

I carry IWB everyday. I do it so I can carry multiple knives, or when swimming, and I even use it if I'm running around in my underwear before bed and need to go to the shop or check on something outside. I also have a pistol that has a clip and I carry it everyday IWB as well.

Since I mentioned it, if you carry IWB to be discrete, if you carry IWB but clipped to your underwear then your knife is completely hidden from view and would probably even pass a pat down if you are worried about that.

Depending on what I'm wearing clothing wise I do carry IWB. Which generally is only when I wear my shorts because my pockets aren't as deep as my pants. I like IWB for only that, it proves more comfortable but this can prove to be a disadvantage is sometimes I can't pull out my knife as fast as I would like I fumble with it almost which and can be no bueno but in other times the sheeple I work with and when I'm out in public don't see it so it keeps them at bay. Like I said there are
advantages and disadvantages.

I've been carrying my Spydercos and kershaws iwb for the last 15yrs of more. It has always worked well for me. My office has a no "dangerous weapons" policy but I've managed to carry every day for over 4yrs.
Guess I'm lucky that they can't get it together enough to define "dangerous weapon"

I'd carry some guns like that but I stick all my folders in my pocket, clipped to the pocket. Dont need to go to jail for a concealed carry!

Keep in mind, definitions and restrictions on concealed carry vary.

In NYC, it is mandatory to completely conceal knives from view. That's one reason I preferred IWB.

I carry IWB with my Strider CC and it works ok (not great) for an office environment. The Strider needs a deep carry option IMO. I carry the Combative Edge M1 and it comes with a nice deep carry clip. It basically disappears and is invisible on black pants.
