This was the original design but it was OWB. It worked but I wanted the knives to be concealable. I put screws through the eyelets and ground them down so they didn't poke out the back side. I've done three of them now and made some improvements. I'd still like to find a way to eliminate the middle man so to speak. Attach a clip to the sheath without using the plastic block. The G clip looks interesting but I'd like to drill my own holes so I can have more flexibility in terms of cant and height.
I use the Spyderco G-Clips all they time (prejudiced - I designed them), and they do retrofit on any of the Cold Steel sheaths that are TekLok compatible, plus you can always drill your own holes for the older ones that are not. They are multi=positional. Here's what I do for the Point/Pro Guard with a modified G-Clip.
