Does anyone make a fixed blade knife with an IWB (in the waist band/pants) style sheath similiar to IWB for concealed firearms?

Columbia River makes the Kasper Cmpanion with a multi carry sheath that will go IWB. I would imagine that many others do as well. There are also plenty of sheath makers here that could make one up for you easily for the knife of your choice.

I have a Camillus Cuda CQB-1 & CQB-2 that I really like, and they both come with excellent Kydex IWB sheaths. (I installed a "G-clip" on the "1", and my "2" is set up as a neck knife.).:).

Here's just one example, an AG Russell Sting with a Mike Sastre (River City) IWB CF pattern Concealex sheath:

One of my favorite IWB rigs is my CRKT Companion in the sheath I got from Eric at On/Scene Tactical. His sheaths are slicker and slimmer than clunky IWB sheath that comes with the Companion, though that sheath will indeed serve the purpose.

Camillus also offers inexpensive Valox-handled boot knives that come with multi-carry option kydex sheaths. One of the options is IWB carry, though the belt loop is so small that you have to wear a very thin belt to make it work.

I have seen the F1 on the web....looks good.
Having checked it out , it comes with 3 styles of sheafs.....kydex, full cover or open end.
The open end hangs about 2 inches down form the belt.....can this style be worn inside the pants?

Question #2..If you order a IWB sheaf from Normark or similiar manufacturer, do they make them specialy and so do they need the knife sent to them or do they hold them in stock if you give them the knife model etc.

Thanks for the snfo to date.

Go to each sheathmaker's website and they will say which sheaths they can just ship out. Each will have some common knives in stock they use to make sheaths. If they don't have your knife, you'll have to send it in. So check out the websites, this may influence your choice of knife.
For custom money, $200 and up appoximately, check out Bud Nealy at www.bladeart.com or www.knifeart.com. He has a slick sheath system with almost all his knives that lets you carry the knife many different ways, including IWB.

Thanks for the links.......Has anyone attempted making their own kydex/concealment type sheaf? It cant be that difficult..or is it?
Anyone know where I can get materials and have a go...any advice?

To answer your question about Eric's (Normark) sheaths. The sheaths are made to be ambidextrous by simply reversing the side the mounting attachment, be it a loop, clip, whatever, is mounted on.
On the left, an On/Scene Tactical sheath with Eric's j clip set up for right-handed IWB carry. A IWB loop, also pictured, is another option.

I carry my REKAT Hobbit Warrior IWB, but that's not an IWB piece for the faint of heart..or anyone who minds getting impaled by a pointy impact pommel! :p

get a custom sheath for the companion and it will work fine - i also carry my MOD razorback like that occasionally, and it works well too, though higher $$ than the companion

Hey blade13....

Take any knife that you like, and you can usually have a custom carry rig made for it....

With custom sheathmakers at your disposal, the options can be endless...

I've made carry rigs for most all popular brands of knives,,customs, kitchen knives and even a custom made titanium icepick..

People want to carry the strangest stuff you can think of...
My job is never boring when it comes to seeing the strangest toys, and knives from plain jane to the most beautiful works of art you can imagine...

If you've got an idea in mind,, drop me a note and possibly we can work something out ....

As far as you other guys go...:)

Thanks much for your support as usual..:)

ttyle

Eric....

I think Skunkworks is not taking custom orders right now. Or at least he wasn't when I ordered my gunting sheaths two months ago. They're very busy with gunting sheath orders. Took quite a while to get mine but I am happy with it.

Normark (Eric)..thanks...I have checked out your web page and may be in touch.....also,thanks to everyone else who have helped with ideas and suggestions.
