Izula 2 belt clip problems

I've had my Izula 2 for less than a year and dearly love the knife, but I picked it up this weekend and noticed the accesory plastic/metal belt clip is start to crack and chip away where it crews to the back of the sheath. I just snugged the fasteners up when I installed it and did not over tighten them. It's almost like the base has gotten brittle over time ( I realize plastic is not the most flexible material to start with). Has an anyone else had problems with this sort of thing? Also, if ESEE doesn't replace it, I think I'd like to try the horizontal belt carry. Is the Molle lock required for this?

No. I use para-cord to strap mine to my belt and it carries great. I never once thought to use the belt clip or MOLLE lock to carry mine.
 
Might try that route. I've seen lots of videos on handle wrapping. Any youtube video recommendations on sheath wrapping for belt carry?
 
It's actually pretty straight forward on wrapping the sheath for belt carry. Once you have it in hand you'll see what I mean. :thumbup:
