I am in the process of stripping my izula 2 and making some G10 scales for it. I got most of the coating off, and the scales are roughed up. I am just waiting on some epoxy(glow spots) to cure, then I will start shaping them. I can't wait to see it done, and I will post plenty of pics :) In the mean time lets see your pimped out IZULAs :D

Its all black G10 with 2 big glow spots. Before I stripped it I acid etched the logos so they would still be visible after I stripped the black coating. Nothing amazing but this is only my second set of handles :D

Not bad at all! Personally, I'd work on rounding those grips a bit, those sharp edges will probably be fairly tough on your hand if you lean on the blade or use it for long. :)

The etch and matte blade finish sure look nice!

Yeah I think I'm going to give them a few passes with some fine sandpaper.

that etch is awesome, great job. im really digging it. goes well with the handle colors, i like the g10 pattern and texture too

Ha!!! I love the green/pink Izula - i have a pink Izula for my daughter (and bought scales for it too, though they're the stock versions). Can't wait to give it to her!!!

They all look good, but rub some gun oil or some other penetrating oils on that g10, it will make it look 1000 times better. It puts a nice matte sheen on it.

I do love the green on pink, before I did the g10 I had it wrapped in neon green 550 cord :) I have since put some oil on it, those pics I took just after I finished them.
