dunno. he spells it wrong on the site twice and pronounces it wrong in the vid three times... but the name is laser engraved in the side of the blade. very strange.

tweaker? perhaps. wonder if he treats his dirt bike like he treats his knives? (the gloves are Alpine Star, a MX gear company)

If his bike is a Honda it should have no problem standing up to the dirtbike equivilant of this knife abuse.

"Dang it, Mom, go get me a piece of wood with a knot in it! And make me some spaghetti-os!"

Aside from really the stabbing into the metal lid, how is this abuse? Isn't this what the Izula is FOR!?

I don't think everyone batons with their Izula, so it could be considered abuse... maybe not abuse, but tougher than normal use. Its' a little short to use for batoning a lot. But the fact that it can tolerate that is very cool. I love my Izula.

It looks like he calls all his reviews "abuse tests." It's really more of a "hard use" test. It's not exactly a Cold Steel video, but I suspect that's where he got the punch-through-metal idea from...

Cold Steel does have some good videos. Overall, I would take an ESEE knife over almost any Cold Steel knife though (and I've either owned or known someone who has owned quite a few).

Very interesting.... minus the metal and concrete this was hardly abuse, this kid was definitely not all there!

Ok, so he confirms what most of us already know...the Izula is a tough little blade. Unfortunately though, I was only able to make it through about 4 minutes before I got bored...
