Izula accessory question

Ok, so i got my Izula kit. Been playing around with it today...

I accidentaly let the whistle/cord end click together before I was ready. doh!

Is there any way to get that little sucker apart again?
 
I just got my Izula kit today as well, and did the exact same thing. There is a way to get the whistle apart again.

Simply slide a credit card down each side of the whistle until you depress the stops on each side, then push the whistle out of the end of the holder.
 
A narrow bladed flat tipped screwdriver in the side and a twist works fine without wrecking anything. I have switched the whistle between the lanyards on two Izula's no bother.

Though probably not quite what they had in mind...

I had poked around with my SAK tweezers, but i hadn't really looked at the thing carefully and had no idea what to try pushing on.

The whistle seems to work great without the cord end thingy on it - makes a better fit in a "tiny" kit. Might risk losing it if your hands are real cold tho.

If I were going to carry it seperate, i would use both peices, and with about 1" of paracord to make a tiny loop.

You could even toss it on your key ring that way. :)
