Izula arrived today and it did not disappoint; this knife is everything people say it is. It's hair popping sharp out of the box and overall, it just a has a wonderful feel to it. You really get the impression this knife wants to be worked.

I ordered the desert tan kit but had to wrap it with some extra 550 cord as the cord that was included in the kit wasn't long enough. This was only my second attempt at wrapping it and it's a bit sloppy... I'll probably rewrap it tonight.

Anyway, this is my first ESEE knife but it definitely won't be the last. Here are a few pictures...

Tying the overhand knot where it will finish inside the lanyard hole will help, unless you want a wrist lanyard coming off of the end. Sorry, I have no pics of what I'm talking about. Nice color combo!!

I've seen some pictures of that and it looks great. I'll probably do that once I rewrap it.. and I'll be sure to post more pics in the Izula wrap thread:thumbup:

Get that last pic up in the photo thread sticky.

I never get tired of looking at pics of these knives.

Same thing here, got my first ESEE and it's a Izula.

The knife is great, but I was expecting the sheath to be less bulky (like BRKT PSK sheath).

Nice wrapping. I just got the scales for mine and I have to say I like it a bit better than paracord wrap. They are worth considering IMO.

Awesome, when I get around to ordering mine I think that will be my first piece.

Congrats on the pick up.

I'm always interested to see if new knives will be put to use.

to me all my knives are users, especially my ESEE's :D  , if you dont use them then all the thought that went into the design would have been done in vein.

congrats on the Izula, now all you need is the lefty folder ;)

Sweet! I have a tan Izula and some tan para cord...I'm gonna have to try a couple of wraps before I buy the scales...
