Hi, just wondering if i should get the kit, or just the knife for christmas!
so here's the deal: i want to be able to carry the knife, in it's original sheath,
on my belt, i know that you can attach it with paracord but i would prefer
to be able to just snap it on! So can you carry the knife on your belt with
the molle lock in the kit?
Thanks, and merry Christmas

Peder

Yes you can...

though with the thick'ish leather belts I tend to wear the molle lock seems a bit strained...I never really trusted it to stay snapped.

I found the same thing. I'm not really into belt carry though so never tried it for long.

hoopster i gotta get one of those izula belt clip sheathes from you. really really digging that design

Well, I would say that you don't really need the kit per say although the kit is a good value for all the components it provides. You can rig up a paracord belt loop on it that will be okay by itself.

The KSF leather izula sheath costs pretty much the same as the Izula itself, but this thing absolutely ROCKS for belt carry. I've been using this all week and have just fell in love with it.

For $15.00 you can also buy the Clovis sheath from KSF that works as well. The Clovis sheath comes in black or tan leather and is a simple pouch sheath. It won't work well for neck carry, but you would already have your moulded sheath for that. The Clovis will cost you only slightly more than a teclock. Plus you can use the clovis with a mini-mag flashlight and a variety of other small blades.
