Finally got one a little while ago and am happy with it. I bought it as a reliable
working blade that I can use without the fear of injury I get from folders.
It's gone through packaging etc in the house like a hot knife through butter which, though pleasing , is nothing that a well sharpened SAK couldn't do.
Today , however, it got it's first test: prising open a window that had expanded and seized. I wouldn't even dream of doing this with my multitools/folders.
I'm really impressed, not even a slight bend, nothing. I've got a lot of confidence using this for various jobs now.

Great knife.

Anyway, here's some pics:

they are sure tough little guys...i pryied a .45 round out of a fence post with mine...not even close to damaging it:thumup::D

I like that wrap. Enjoy it!

Can't take credit for that, chap called Lev @ BritishBlades sent it to me like that.
I'm going to swap it over to the esee scales as I find the wrap a little "thin" in the hand. I haven't tried it "au naturale" yet.....

I was using it as a craft knife tonight slicing tape up for kids project, SHARP!

Got somes scales (from Mindz_I).
Big improvement in feel and grip for me.

like a different knife.

mikmak - Glad they landed safe and sound and you like them.

They totally change the feel of the knife imo. Great bit of kit.

Great Pics and Congrats on the Uzula. I wanna get one soon....... I like the plane also, is that a Record Plane ???

Congrats to your new Izula, its a great knife for sure. I have been thinking of getting one myself for a very long time and today I decided to do the right thing and order one... but I ended up ordering two of them :)

Everyone talks about supersteel this and supersteel that, personally I prefer the Izulas good old 1095, works brilliant!

Thanks.

No idea my friend! I picked it up 2nd hand, for about £1, as I recall.
Just says "No 4" and "Made in England".

Thanks Mindz_I, Noisycricket and Koda.

I definately fits the hand way better. The little finger gets a good purchase at the end of the scale.
I didn't care for the spongy feel of the cord at all.

I preferred the feel of the cord gutted rather than 'full'. The scales are probably the nicest feel though.

Does anyone know where to actually GET the scales right now?
Everywhere I look they are pre-order or sold out.
If you know of someplace - shoot me a PM please!
