Izula fit

For guys that have them, will an Izula in its sheath fit in a Spec-Ops sheath's pouch?

I have a spec-ops that fits my BK7.I just tried to cram my IZULA as far as I could in the pouch and the velcro flap won't reach to close.even if you would shave off the big loop hole on the izula's sheath it would be roomier but still the pocket is't deep enough.

What's the OAL of the Izula in its sheath?

from tip of sheath to but end of handle is 7&1/16inches

now if you were to shave off the end of the sheath the part with the hole for the snap clip you would gain 1/2 inch then you almost maybe might be able to close the flap on the spec-ops sheath.
