IZULA Folder - more info!!

I wanter a folder...and I really like the looks of this one....how aout some more info?

I'm going to have to make sure I check the RAT website weekly from now on. I don't want to let this get past me. I've been carrying my Izula for almost 2 months now, and love it to death! I'll get the folder for EDC, and put the fixed blade in my car BOB!

I think it will be great....I just want to have some kind of info....rahter than hanging out in LALA Land.
 
I guess the problem for me is I wanta new folder (within the next couple of months) and would like to know if I am holding my breath for nothing or if it might be available by then.
 
well consitering this is early 2010 , and its says late 2010 i would say ... your holding your breath for nothing.... im sure it could be rushed to market but i dont see that as RATs style im sure a fair bit of testing and thinking is still needing to be done on it. so if you have to have one right now then i would say find another folder for now , try a ontario rat1 or many of the other good folders on the market. and when it comes out you can think it over and pick one up.

Get an Ontario RAT1. It's not a crunch from your wallet, and I love it as a normal use folder.
 
You can't rush a good thing, and I applaud RAT for taking their time and getting it right the first time. D2 is a great steel IMO I have a folder made of it that I carry as my EDC and it has performed very well. Mo-jord my advice to you is don't waste your money on a folder because you are impatient, wait patiently for the Izula Folder to come out and the reward will be that much greater. Besides you already have a great knife that you apparently have been using for 2 months that has served you well, whats a few more months in the big picture? Just my stinky opinion.
 
Get a ZT350 while you wait. That thing gives me the same feeling for a folder as RAT does for a fixed blade. That thing is probably one of the best pocket knives I have ever held.
 
I justed went to the site and saw the pictures, guess another one to add to the list to buy when it comes out. I think I'm up to 4-5 on the list:D
